Engaging With One Another
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."
Matthew 5:16
We have several opportunities for you to get plugged in and invest your time, talents, and treasures "where neither moth nor rust destroys" (Matthew 6:20). God has given us all spiritual gifts to minister both inside and outside of the Body of Christ as we strive to achieve the Everyday Commission to "make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19). Here are some of the opportunities to get involved and grow in Christ.
Secret Sisters
A ministry of regular prayer for and by your Secret Sister, encouragement, and a fun way to get to know other ladies in our church a little better. This is anonymous but each will reap many blessing along the way. This requires a 1-year commitment, and the Secret Sister year begins every March. Click here for more information.
JBC Connect
It's a time of connecting with our community every Monday morning by simply smiling, waving, and giving out FREE coffee, tea, treats, and prayer to those who stop as they drive by the church on HWY 112. All the goodies are provided, all you have to do is show up and be an ambassador for the Kingdom! New in 2022 we will be opening "drive-through prayer"! Click here for more information.
Celebrate Recovery
A safe place to find community and freedom from the issues that are controlling our life. Think of it as a Christ-Centered Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) to help address, equip, and give the follower of Christ victory over ANY hurt, pain, or addiction in their life, and since it is Christ centered there is the power of God for breaking addictions, healing, recovery, and walking a life of purity and sobriety. Click here for more information.
Clothes Closet
Free, gently-used clothes, shoes, and coats for all ages and sizes can be found at the Clothes Closet. It is open Saturdays from 10 am - 2 pm. The Clothes Closet is located above the Chapel at the west end of the JBC property. Click here for more information.
Benevolence
A ministry designed to help local people who find themselves needing a helping hand in a difficult situation. Food can be obtained from our food bank, and some limited financial help is sometimes available. Click here for more information.
